VIN Number

Does anyone know how to "read" the VIN number? I need to find the month and year of manufacture of my GSXR to register it in England but I cant find it anywhere. I have heard you can decipher this from the VIN number.

Cheers. It helps a bit but my VIN does not follow the same logic. Im going to have to phone Suzuki tomorrow.
