Not a good start?

#1 Post by Gio » Wed Mar 12, 2008 11:38 am

Whats with all the recalls, Is Honda trying to kill everyone?

I had a ride yesterday on an ST1300 Pan, I was not impressed, ok the comfort was great but there were nigley things about the bike, the brakes were less than impressive, clunky gearbox, harder to keep the bike straight in the wind than the old one and the glare from the dash when the suns on it is appaling, its as if its a mirror.

So its now down to finding a late 1100 or BMW will get my business.

I think Honda really don't want the touring market any more, stupid IMO.

:smt005 There are a lot of recalls, yes, but not really more than the other manufacturers. Ive just listed them on HRS so people, like yourself, can check whether prospective new purchases have had the mods done.

Cos Im good like that... :smt002

MMM you are prolly right, I did a troll for recalls on other makes, seems they are becoming more and more common.

Maybe this is the "Zero" thing in action, but in an underhand way. :smt011
