It wasn't that much, couple of eggcups worth.
How about the plug of bits of dead spiders and leaves and stuff that also fell in the tank as I was clearing the drain hole?
Water in the petrol tank is a bad thing?

Where ever I lay my hat.....
Depends entirely on the water petrol ratio, a small amount of water improves combustion as the water will super heat and micronize on the compression stroke thus smashing the fuel/air mix into smaller particles ensuring a more efficient cleaner combustion, less unburnt fuel passing your zorst valves.
Too much water in the combustion chamber cannot superheat and micronize and will hydraulic, possibly sounding like nuts and bolts in the combustion chamber, worst case scenario, too much water will be incompressible, similar effect to injecting concrete into the cylinder...
No info about spiders and leaves......

Ok so you can leave it in your tank or drain it and drink it! either way you'll get a hiccup or 2HisNibbs wrote:A little in the fuel tank is no problem, a hic-up or two putting down the power is probably the worst.

I don't care if you lick windows,

Or occasionally pee on yourself.
