I have mentioned this in another post, but repeated here for anybody who might be interested with close up photos of some of the bikes.

BIKE NIGHT at the Plough Inn, South Leverton DN22 0BT is on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month starting on the 11th and 25th of April, up to early October.
You get people turning up on all sorts of bikes, from a BSA Bantam to an NR500, from a Tiger Cub to a Desmosedici, have even seen a pair of Black Falcos, (Me and Dave)!

I think so, but it will probably be by car! DOOOOOH.
No idea where we will park it!
Promised to take Dave out there, as he still isn't fully recovered from his latest operation, so no chance of him riding the Falco yet and pillion is out for same reason.
If he is still OK we will probably be there early (ish).

Should know for sure tomorrow.

Jay, I will be going to South Leverton on Wednesday but it will be by car. I've just talked to Dave, he still only has about half use in his left hand and it is not improving as quickly as it first did, so he won't be on the Falco.
I'd been promising him for a while that if he couldn't ride, I'd take him there by car, I'll get him a pint and let him drool over a few old baikes.
Catch you there but I'll be in a black BMW 1 series, rather than riding a Black Falco.
Which Falco will you be on?

Had a night off hospital visiting duty yesterday so went to South Lev for a look. Lovely warm evening and it was mobbed. Good to catch up with Howard and we spotted another Falco (Red). Glad to hear Dave is back on two wheels Howard and enjoying his Blade. There was an amazing collection of bikes - old new, tricked, cafe racers, exotica - a great night. Will be going back soon.

Glad that you and your mates enjoyed it, (nice to meet them), it was a great turn out.

None of the really serious old exotica out yet , (No NR750 or even any Vinnies, Brough or Hesketh), but..........

Did you see the the Kwack tripple smoker.

Thought it was a 750 at first, (there was at least one very nice standard 750), this one turned out to be a 500 that had been modded to a 600, with a VFR 750 S/Sided rear end and a full ZX10R front end, latest forks and radial brakes with a gorgeous set of stainless spannies, just had to wait until he rode off.

and the Kwack Z1B (I think) that looked better than brand new.

The little Honda 1960s race replica to the right of the pub, Dave and I were trying to work out if the engine was an old CB72 250 or a 305. Turned out to be a 160 that was bored out and re barrelled to nearly 200.
Watched the old geezer on that ride away, no way did it sound like a tidler, with that deep throaty roar from those ancient race cans.
Evidently the bloke has a replica 60s 6 cylinder Honda race bike at home that cost him £60k or so, (wasn't that the Bead/ Bede replica or something).

Lots of the other usual stuff, Goldies, old Nortons, Tridents, Tribsas etc., plus the A10s, Bonnies, even down to a Monkey bike and a bloke riding a large Penny Farthing, when things started to clear later

and a few trikes for Bobbie..
A nice Honda Goldwing that she may have liked, but fairly common, and a tuned V8 Rover engined one that she may not, but looked awesome.

Really good to see so many old bikes being ridden on the road.

Next one in THREE weeks time.

Thank's for that, I remember it now, posted this lunch time from work and hadn't been through the Google brain refresh exercise!
The little one last night was very nice, not sure if the Beale comes out to play, but would like to be there if it does!
