After the great meet at Newark and ride on to Willingham Woods i said I would be happy to lead a ride through North Yorks. I know we are moving into the busy holiday period but if anyone is interested post some of your available weekends and we'll see if we can come up with a date to suit most.
The plan will be to meet somewhere close to M62 to enable easy access for anyone coming from further south - probably Jct37 Howden. We'd then ride north to Malton, across the moors to Castleton, Guisbrough then on to Stokesley. Maybe BigUn and Pierre can hook up with us there? From there we head back via Bilsdale to Helmsley then back to York and split from there.
Hands up

Sounds good to me Dave, I don't have a holiday booked until October so I am pretty flexible at the moment.

I'd be up for that Dave - holidays permittin - I'm away 1/8 to 16/8.
The ride is the reason ........ the destination is just the excuse.

Would love to come, but unfortunately i'm in for a shoulder operation on Friday, so will be off the bike for some weeks.
I'm looking to be back around the end of August or beginning of September, hopefully for BSB at Cadwell.
I'll keep looking for the rideout date, i know how these things can take some time to arrange.
If i don't make it hope you all have a good day.

I'd be up for it, but I'm on holiday or at weddings for most of August, so my free time is essentially "reserved" by the missus

My road bike hasnt been on the road for 2 seasons

but I'm getting grief from all angles about it now so you never know.
Bigun has a better sence of direction than me and knows better roads. My mates class a ride out as the route between pubs and last one theres a puff, never know where i've been half the time
from concentration , not boozed up

Lets do it! I'm sure Greg D and Pierre (if his bike is road legal) will be up for that too.
Can't do first weekend of August or first weekend of Sept but other than that.
Will look forward to it!

M62 Jct37 is only 100 miles away for me so, 100 out, 100 in plus 150ish playtime? = 350ish miles - no probs
Will keep an eye on the dates
