Cassington Bike Night - 29th June, 09

#1 Post by D-Rider » Wed Jun 10, 2009 12:09 pm

Cassington (Oxfordshire) have their annual Bike Night on Monday 29th June this year.

I may well be up for this .... any others?

(Obviously a Monday night is going to restrict attendance for many but there must be some of us that live within range)

I went, I returned :smt003

About a dozen of us went from Coventry Bikers on about ten bikes.
Of that 10 there were 2 Falcos and a Mille
:smt004

Got rained on fairly thoroughly on the way down there (as I did the next day - Tuesday - going to Birmingham .... Birmingham being bad enough in the dry .....)

Cassington was absolutely rammed with bikes. Saw a few Falcos there. Got talking to one chap from Gloucestershire who thought I'd made a lot of changes to mine .... guess he might have a point ....
Told him about this forum ..... but why have I never got a forum business card to hand when I need one!

What were you doing driving a bus to a bike meet, then again you did drive the car to Newark! :smt003

I can see it now ..........
Driving along in an army truck,
In a humpety bumpety army truck.
The people wave
To the soldiers brave,
Who sing and shout,
As they lurch about.
Oh we are in luck,
We will never be stuck,
In our humpety bumpety army truck.
