Mid year meet- Who is coming

#1 Post by blinkey501 » Fri May 13, 2016 4:56 pm

I have decided to post up a little earlier as it will give people time to adjust to some minor changes to this years mid year meet.

Running a meet and then organising the ride out takes it's toll on me, so this year I can't organise the ride out?

I hope that one or two of the members that are wanting to come to the meet and have local knowledge of the area can organise the run.

This will give me time to chill out for a while before doing the BBQ Saturday.

Secondly.

You get to decide what brands of beer/wine/lager you would like for the binge drinking we are accustom to.

Finally.....

I had to have an awkward conversation with the owner of the campsite after last years meet? as other residents of the campsite could smell something that was recreational and none alcoholic?

I think you understand. Please folks be sensible, as this is a great campsite. :smt002

So....

Please post up who would like to come and some of the beer you would like.

I have a nice bottle of glenmorangie for the usual tipple

Thanks.....

blinkey.... :smt112

I'm in.
I'll drink anything.
Do quite like cider though if there's some going.

Beer for me would be Guiness (draft stylie) or bitter, not that fizzy larger rubbish, proper beer, if fact, get a barrel of real ale & a straw...
Hope to be coming up Friday PM.

PS Mother in law is at my house as I type eating my food & drinking my wine...................bloody good job I'm away, it would make me cry if I were to see it.....

I'll try and have a ride over after work on Friday or Saturday though just to say hi!

I will be over on Saturday just have no idea of plans as usual may need to borrow camping gear
For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock
