It was great to see you guys again, even if i did get confused with who is who! Next time i will have to organise myself a bit better and do the tenting and drinking thing as well!
Jay, i'm not surprised you're tired after all of those trips around the field with young kids and their motherson that gorgeous tornado.
Hope everyone got back safe and sound.

I'd like to add my (belated) thanks to Jay and Sally for organising a fantastic weekend. The excellent scoff was most appreciated and it was great to meet up with some familiar faces and some new ones. The organisation and planning that makes this such a successful event is not that obvious, but must take lots of time and effort. Nice one, chap and chapess...
While we had a brilliant time, it would have been even better if I hadn't been such a plonker and forgotten the airbed. Best part of 2 hours of prime drinking and socialising time taken up dashing back to Sheffield on friday night to pick up a bloody airbed. D'oh...
Some of you may recall I was a bit concerned about the state of the Mille Sachs shock on my blue Falco. It was clearly losing oil , but seemed OK-ish on the rideout. By the time I'd got it home (in the van) there were oil puddles on the floor, and oil all over the shock and linkage. I got the shock off last night, took the spring off this evening and could push the damper rod in with just light pressure. It was just as easy to pull it back to full extension, only this time it made a gurgling noise. It's definitely rubber-ducked...

Thanks to Jay and Sally , the organisation was superb as always and myself,Dom and Tim really appreciate all the hard work you put in! Had a great time as always ,but still a bit sore from rolling down the Trent bank scuffling with a grizzly. Could job I came out on top!😂😂
I don't care if you lick windows,
Take the special bus
Or occasionally pee on yourself.
You hang in there sunshine, you're special!

Gill and I know how much effort and planning goes into running such a successful event - many thanks to Sally & Jay from us for a splendid weekend. And to everyone else who turned up and made it such an enjoyable and convivial session. Thanks for the whisky too, whoever provided it.

I too would like to add my thanks to Jay and Sally, and also to the rest of you for welcoming a newcomer such as myself to the fold. I had a fantastic weekend (bar feeling a bit dodgy on Saturday morning) and will definitely be back next year if at all possible. I'll even endeavour to bring the oasis.

Everyone trying to avoid eye contact after the ride-out...
The Battle of the Bulge
I really think this one should be used in a caption competiton...
