Marches Meet 2015 - B & B

I've just spoken to the new owners of The Crown. They tell me that they currently have 2 rooms available for Friday May 15th., and 1 for Saturday May 16th - seems they've already attracted a significant new clientele since taking over in September. £70.00 per room per night.
So, if you want B & B, get your booking in PDQ!
The Crown Inn, Newcastle-on-Clun, 01588 640271. New owners are Wendy and Richie.

There is another B & B establishment nearby, recommended by Dawn (Mrs. Campsite); about 3/4 mile from the campsite.
The Quarry House Bed and Breakfast; proprietor Michelle Evans; 01588 640774. Currently, three rooms available on both Friday and Saturday nights. £70.00 per room per night.

Just booked a hotel room in Kensington for £55 a night.. That includes breakfast.. I pride myself on using local traders and supporting family business', but there comes a point where the piss is just a little too green for my liking.
(Footnote. Not saying it's a rip off.. Well.. I am, but.. What I'm trying to say is.. Erm.. Maybe it's a really nice place and worth every penny. However, it'll be a tent n' doss bag fer me.

I'm going to the 'American Speedfest' at Brands to meet up with an old friend next month - though I would try and book somewhere to stay - £170 !!!!!
Went for the camping option!

The friends had the forethought to book when it wasn't so pricy but I was a bit busy hospital-hopping at the time!
