I believe a few of us will be there again - so feel free to shamble along
NB - if you want to get out on the parade laps, book it NOW - the spots were gone by the 20th january iirc

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

It is lucky that the 1000 bikes festival will go ahead.
It would appear that the locals are up in arms with the amount of time that mallory is open.
At present the track is operating every weekend and basically the locals are not getting any rest from the track noise.
The track has a bargaining tool have said they would offer to close the crosser track and close one weekend a month.
The locals have rejected this offer and are also threatening to take the local council to court has there is a ruling from 1985 which states the amount of time mallory is to open, and the council has not governed this!!!
Hopefully the track and locals will come to an agreement.

just a heads up for those planning on going to the 1000 bikes this summer - Wayne Gardner is the main attraction - http://www.festivalof1000bikes.co.uk/pastmasters.aspx
Also - Fogarty and Witham.... though I am more interested in watching John McGuiness
oh - there will also be the standard exhibition of a black falco lapping every one else on the field, another black falco riding very slowly at the back of the field and what ever colour Joseph and his amazing technicolour collection of falcos decides to ride being parked in the verge......
(Thats Keef, myself and Jay btw!)

Just let people know I have cancelled my room and decided to go camping. This means you have a rare chance of a local hotel if you want to stop over.
