Damn Andy

Can't you pick up your Grecian 2000 on Sunday Instead?

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

... Still umming and ahhing about this. Truth be told, despite previous claims to the contrary (in responses to Glen 'flyingkiwi') I am slightly apprehensive about going on a proper ride-out, after the fall many moons ago in Wales. Admittedly I barely knew the Falco then, and I've done my fair amount of miles since, but mostly highway hacking and commuting. If Jay doesn't mind me plodding along at my own pace on the way up, and all and sundry humour me when we get to the main event, I might still be in. The weather looks ok at least.

The ones I've ridden with are a sensible bunch when out in a group. I'm not going to be out to set any lap records, come, it'll be fun.

Plus I know an excellent pasty shop :)

My view dude is as long as we all know way points in case people get separated by traffic or whatever the rest is a chill out type thang :)

Heck it's so chilled that Mart is bringing a sofa!

Plus I like to go slow do I can look out for ice cream shops ... There's a nice one in Tideswell ;)

So ice cream pasties and like minded folk sounds like a must to me :)
Morrisons leek Staffordshire ST13 5SG on the store locator what time do you reckon chaps ?

01538 399737 is the store number. There is a gas station there too the other side of the road but it's there

PS squid be gentle with the antipodean ;)
For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

What's an antipodean? Sounds like something from Norfolk.

I'm still up for it. Even blowed up my tyres and lubed the side of the tyre and the swingarm and the slabs and a bit of the chain.

Good job you mentioned that I had forgotten as I was concentrating on ordering my new roadsmarts in time for tomorrow luckily the local guy had one set of 120/70 180/55 or 50 never can get that right ... For 239 fitted so sorted thinks I

Well unluckily I then made the mistake of asking the price of the roadsmart 2"s ...only 38 £ extra he says so I will be there on my shredded rubbers the 2 "s don't arrive til Monday.
Meaning I will have to remember to check them in the am ... See I got back to the point :)

Ready to roll. Buxton forecast is for light rain/showers, late morning - early afternoon. Suggest we camp out in Morrisson's cafe until the the weather improves.
