However, there's a B & B a few hundred yards away

Newcastle Hall Phyllis Reynolds Tel: 01588 640350 (Gill & I stayed there 20-odd years ago, doing the Offa's Dyke path)

And others in/near the village

Brynmawr Farm Mrs Sue Wheeler Tel 01588 640298

The Cabin (Static Caravan) Mrs G Adams Tel 01588 640472

I'll be going over in a week or two to have a chat with Dawn about arrangements, so I'll try & see what these places are like. And if there are others conveniently near.

PS We'd have to come by car 2.
Gio i would make provisions for taking the bike, the ride out was awsome this year.
Or at least bring your bike gear and be a passenger
For what its worth, I don't do pillion and 2 I have no way of getting my bike there as I don't want to fit a towbar on the car (means cutting the bumper etc).
For me its the company not the ride and I'm considerably slower now than I was.
Shame, i know what you mean about not wanting to cut the bumper... Last year was not a fast run out but some fantastic scenery :smt003

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

I just emailed them - they are on holiday - but will be back on 21st of this month....

(They did apologise, they did not expect us to be this organised!)

Ah yes ... email to that region ....."type" your message with a pencil onto a piece of paper whilst at the same time feeding Alfie. Tie the message to Alfie's leg and release him into the sky ......
