For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

We went, we looked, we came home. Thanks for the company the food and the present.hornetrider wrote:I'm toying with heading up on Saturday - can you keep an eye out for any kit bargains and let me know if there's generally a lot of stuff on sale? I'm after a new lid and maybe some hard luggage/textiles/random stuff. The last time I went to a bike show I got a tinted visor for like a fiver and various bits of kit for next to nothing.
Cheers!

There was a reasonable amount of stuff for sale and there were bargains to be had if you dropped on something in your size that they were trying to get rid of. Saw 20 quid leather trousers, a few one piece suits at 150 from 650, various odd FT boots from 50. Quite a lot of cheap small stuff. Bought motrax waterproof trousers for a fiver. Current stuff was a smidge less than interweb prices. Only hard luggage I saw was on the Givi stand.
Where ever I lay my hat.....
I suppose there'd have been a wider choice (sizing) earlier in the week, but I did feel many of the clothing stands were trying to unload old stock.
However, that aside, it was more than pleasant to catch up with the Great Squid of Wednesbury and the Big Man from Cheshire, and to sit on lots of bikes I can't afford.
I was particularly taken by the Metisse Street Scrambler.

I also did try to do something useful but more about that later
I also regret not buying the BKS gloves for 29.99 on black from the stand in the far corner hint

I also got a couple of photos I'll put up tomorrow
