Trailer is already out thereabouts with my bike aboard.
I'll be headed that way earlyish in the morning so you're minding this shop tomorrow. :smt002

For those travelling remember the harvest was delayed weeks by the weather .... watch out for the farm machinery and the damned caravans.
See you there. :smt001 The weekend could be a scorcher, we'd best stay hydrated. :smt003

Which is quite good going for me!

I may break down en route though Sam, so just have that trailer to hand... :smt002 You know how reliable they are!

I think its time you got a bike and not an old pot boiler

Bikes loaded up but sadly no camera on board as I couldn't get the bloody thing to work, so maybe we could dive into Norwich Friday moaning ( :smt002 ) for a new power supply.

BTW does anyone know where I can get a bmw style power outlet to mount on the Falco?

BTW I've decided to forgo the track evening, I had an odd feeling earlier and its not my bike.

Ya twat ! :smt005 That's what the whole Aug date was arranged around. :smt002

I couldnt decide which bike to take and didn't really fancy loading the Kwak on the trailer single handed, but went for it in the end without incident.

I was thinking of coming in the car but looks like it's not on now - had to make an unscheduled trip to Cambridge last week for an engine transplant for the car and now I'm broke! And got a lot to sort at home too cos life went a bit pearshaped the last month or two.

Aww Bobbi, you shouldve emailed me in advance, couldve met up for a coffee, etc :smt009 Sam got the post and is aware youre not due in. He wouldve worried otherwise.

Have just spoken to Sam, Gio and Himself are currently propping up the Bar in the Local (Checking the quality of the Ale apparently) and report that it is fine although NOT smoking in a Pub is a bit alien to Sam!!!

Gio didnt go on the trackday, the big wuss, also Sam didnt take his place.. the bigger wuss... :smt002 :smt002 He did say Novices just wasnt worth turning the Engine on for.. :smt005

Sam asked me to pass on his comment that he loves the Falco, D-R. :smt001 First time He's seen Gio's in the flesh..paint..whatever it would be..

Im up there tomorrow after work and the weather in the area should be quite good by all accounts! Look forward to seeing the others there :smt001

It was all a bit last minute K - and forgot you were in the area! We were supposed to be going to Derbyshire for a Maestro Club run but changed it to Cambridge at the last minute, had fun and games on the way up, broke
down on the motorway - twice! First time was on the M25 in the roadworks where there was no hard shoulder, 2nd time just after we got on the M25, finally got to Cambridge being towed by an RAC van!

Had a great week tho, Simon who was doing the engine swop lent us his old Daimler for the weekend, found some great pubs with excellent beer and also visited the Imperial War Museum at Duxford where Mike has always wanted to go.

Really sorry not to be meeting up with everyone, this year has been a bit of a dead loss as have had to cancel a number of rallies which also means I haven't got to very many Round Britain Rally landmarks either. Roll on next year.
