Celebrities in norfolk

#1 Post by Aladinsaneuk » Sat Sep 25, 2010 7:07 am

Status report - Saturday morning

Last night was not to messy... Though it would appear that some bastard broke into the barn, trashed the place, drank shed loads of ale and snider heavily... That may be a delusion brought about by tequila Jaffa cakes !

Samray, Martdude, shebee, benwah, kiwi boy, griff, jadaris and aladinsane all slept well... Sam claims he got drunk from the knees up....

And celebrities... No, not the journo or the griffmeister - last night we were visited by both Gandalf and Saruman.... The photos will explain all - let's just say that a certain futura should be called Shadowfax....

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Sounds good!

We had pizza last night.. delivered by dominoes.. in the middle of a desert.

A somewhat surreal moment in my life, but thoroughly enjoyable.

Got back home exactly two hours after leaving the warmth of the pub. I was fully expecting a wet and miserable ride back, only to find that there was bright sunshine from Nahrich onwards!

Great to meet you all and thank you to Aladinsaneuk for keeping us well fed and watered. Appreciated!

It was an enjoyable and relaxing w/e with good food, liquor, music and company despite the weathers efforts to dampen spirits.
All credit is due to Pete who stepped in and took on all the preparation and the cooking.
The entertainment included a famous member of the Jackson Six and Barbie.
Was good to put a few more faces to names.
In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular.

The Pikeys must be desperate down your way, they even nicked the wheel off your barrow!!
Looks like you a ll had a great weekend and I'm sorry to have missed it - too many hobbies and not enough time!
The ride is the reason ........ the destination is just the excuse.

:smt082 It didn't last.

We can't blame the falcos altogether, it was the tail end of a hurricane. (Bloody Yanks!)

its only because you are so bleeding tall that your head is so high up in the soggy wet clouds....

I might have caught the tail end of a Hurricane in Norfolk but I got back too late to see the Vulcan flying over Coventry ......
