Windows Update?
The tragedy of old age is not that one is old, but that one is young.

Re: Windows Update?
It is a security update. Windows update is quite clever and automatically detects installed software and hardware and suggests an update if it finds a suitable one.BikerGran wrote:MS is offering me an update for something I'm not sure I even have!

As alad stated, c++ is a programming language (which i have used extensively this year). The files being updated here are mostly core files (i.e. they wont be included as a header file in a script) and are part of the backbone for the c++ platform.
to cut a long story short, installing this latest update will ensure any detected exploits are fixed.
