Does anyone have any idea why a particular folder in 'My Pictures' on my computer doesn't offer me the choice to 'view as a filmstrip' ?

It did last time I opened it, now it doesn't!

And what (and where) can I do about it?

This may well depend on your version of windows but with XP, on the main menu of windows explorer, under View there is the Filmstrip option.

follow these steps.

Open the folder in question > select "Customise This Folder..." from the 'View' menu tab > choose the Pictures or Photo Album option.

This should then give you the 'Filmstrip' option under the View menu.
