Anyone got..

An Xperia X10

or any info of the Dell Streak?

Im due a contract end in August and I want another Smartphone.

My current order of merit is the Xperia X10 followed by the Dell probably followed by a Blackberry and following at the back, the Chavphone..sorry..IPhone..

Anyway, anyone got an opinion on the first two? I know about the merits of the Berries, Dislike the Iphone simply because I feel there are better phones out there with less desirability but more functionality and purpose. plus the major thing in that I genuinely dont like it.

I get this emailed regularly and flicking through it it has some interesting reading, just looking to see what views others have.

Thought the sony got a slagging in most reviews? Stuck on android 1.6 until october? Same as other basic android phones but at a sony inflated price?

And the dell streak looks good till you hold something the side of a book to your ear I have the HTC hd2 and to be honest its about as big as you'd want to go. Downside is its windows mobile, but thats also the upside as although the fucking thing slows down, crashes, glitches etc etc ETC everything is 'free' . I have satnav, barcode shopper, ebook reader, doom2, media center remote control, metal detector :) etc



The HTC desire is the phone to have at the minute I thought?

iphone 3gs prices will fall at the end of this month - for some users i think it is still very hard to beat

i have an HTC desire and love it, my wife has the same and hates it. I like the smartphone aspect of it, she hates the slow camera. Depends what you want it for but as smartphones go i've been using HTC for years and wouldn't use anything else.

New android 3 is due now - initial reports are good

New iPhone due in next two weeks

New crackberry due soon as well

Not a fan of these 'smart' phones.. Touch screen in my job just doesn't work. Real buttons for me ta.

HTC Desire for me. Well impressed and the app availability is getting better all the time.

There are a few bugs in some of them - ebay and Facebook for example, but the Yahoo and G Mail apps are pretty good, as is the browser.

Mind you if bloody Fry gives it his blessing I might have to get something else
