Sounds good. A few problems:

1. It's made by Nokia

2. Did I mention it's made by Nokia?

I'd rather use my XDA, an MP3 player and my cheap PDA.

For starters because that way the battery drain is shared across 3 items and not all off one. What's the average battery life going to be? I reckon that'll be the thing that sinks it. too much going on against too small a battery maybe..

Your Xda is made for O2 (and others) by Nokia.

Actually, No.

The O2 XDA Graphite is made by ASUSTeK, a Taiwanese firm.

They arent Nokia and arent anything to do with Nokia. They actually produce many phones and computer components, including component parts for Sony and Apple amongst others. Nokia make phones for..... Nokia, funnily enough.

You may wish to check this page for clarification...

I knew this a while back when I was researching which PDA/XDA I wanted to get. It's also handy to know the real manufacturers for when you need spare screens, batteries and keypads... saves a fortune!

They also make motherboards - the one in my desktop pc's been OK but had much more trouble with my son's. First motherboard was DOA. replacement worked for a while .... then failed. Eventually repaired under warranty .... until it failed again a year later .... at which point to get it repaired under warranty I had to shell out to post it to them and pay them £12 to get it shipped back (can only assume they're getting so many returns that they now have introduced inflated carriage charges to make some money out of it!). While waiting weeks for it to be repaired, we bought another from ebay as we needed the PC ... it arrived DOA (but it was pre-used so I guess I can't blame that completely on Asus).

Much sooner have a nokia product.
