We've encountered problems at work with Vista.

It's shite.

DELL appreciate this, they offer XP alongside Vista for the purchaser to choose between.

Pity the others dont all follow suit.

I've got both, currently running Vista on the lappy, its been no bother at all. :smt001

Thats on the desktop along with XP Pro and Solaris (no I'm not familiar with it)

Solaris x86, eh? You brave, deluded fool.

Having worked with Solaris machines for the past 9 years I can safely say that it's a great server OS but utter crap for desktop use.
