As they quite rightly point out how do you compare XP to Vista, surely as they say it should be drawn up against Windows 2000.
IMHO XP is shite next to the NT version so on that understanding Vista has got to be even worse. The downside as I see it is that win2k will be unsuported in 2 years time and the latest offering won't bridge the gap.
Linux is surely the way to go, even for the average home user.
