I've got a thing on my Samsung laptop that says it's called Samsung LiveUpdate. It keeps wanting to update stuff, but when I look at it I find it's a .exe file - and I'm warned to be wary of those!

Is it genuine or should I just get rid of it?

I may have got the name wrong, I looked on there just for 'Samsung update' and got ' Samsung Update Plus' - looks like it's ok!
