I have an old X10 home automation system that I use for running household appliances when the cheap rate electricity kicks in (though in the summer I run them in the day time to use the solar energy I generate).
The X10 is a bit long in the tooth now - hopefully the project you are supporting will be good.


On the Kickstarter front, it shouldn't be long until I get my helmet-mounted HUD from the project I sponsored:
