SDHC card reader recommendations?

#1 Post by MartDude » Sun Jul 06, 2014 8:54 pm

I need a card reader - USB - for uploading photographs (to PC - Vista)

Having spent quite some time reading reviews on Amazon, it seems that all the more popular ones have some issues - about 10% of the reviews are 1-star, with a fair sprinkling of 2 & 3 star reviews.

Can anyone here offer recommendations? Or opinions on ones to avoid?

I have one similar to this........ (£3.99)

http://www.7dayshop.com/dynamode-usb-6- ... VyI3A9MQ==

Not the same markings but identical item. I did have a 7dayshop own brand one but that was useless, didn't work properly then not at all, replacement never worked! (Have to say they are very good if something like that fails, they just send you another).

Doubtless someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I think they are one of those devices that either work or they don't, no need to spend huge amounts!
The tragedy of old age is not that one is old, but that one is young.

shamble into marlins and talk with them

and the cheap are as good as the expensive imho - i currently use a 5 quid special!

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...
