Four months later - splashed out and bought a Samsung telly in Curry's sale, after listening to a friend's. The sound is considerably clearer, particularly speech, even without a soundbar, though I might add one at a later date.

So, anyone want a cheap Panasonic Viera 32" LCD telly?

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

I've always found Samsungs to be quiet, and I've had two.

My LG is perfectly fine.
