Anyone using Safari?

and nooj - safari should already be on the system

click on finder, then go, then select applications - am fairly sure safari will be down there

if not then try firefox as viking said :)

(Agree re the ram btw - and the g3 makes an ideal workshop pc i found - I had one in my workshop just to be able to research things on the web and look up pdf files etc)

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Done a search, no Safari. I have all the start up sortware and it's also not on there. As I said, the Apple shop keeps freezing everytime I try and use it, is there another place I can find Safari?

safari 4 went live yesterday - basically the same as the beta version, bar the tabs are back in the old place.

it is faster than both ie and firefox

(yesterday was one of those mac geek moments... apple announced all sorts of things, new iphones, laptops etc - then they rolled out their new operating system - Snow Leopard - and the best thing about it is the price - $30... that is not an upgrade price, that is the price of the whole caboodle - watch and weep micro$oft!)

Ah, surely for 'tis a house of techy woes!

My laptop died last week as well and my phone is playing up. New laptop procured: Toshiba Satellite L350 if that means anything to any of you.

I've downloaded the most basic version of Safari I could find in the Apple shop onto it (but not installed it), with a view to putting it on a disk and trying to stuff it inside the i-mac. Do I need to uninstall IE first?

Also, what's Safari like to use on a PC? I've not had this laptop a week and already IE has crashed on me twice!
