Love the red wheels. And the Mille swing arm, and......... (well I should, that's my old bike and it was me who did all that!) still looks good. Had it long?

...We'll blame you for the white rim tape then shall we? The colour police will be onto you!!

It's always worrying when a chap needs to have his rim taped

I've had it for just over a year. Bought from a guy in St.Albans. A bold 'back to biking' and 'first big bike' choice but how could I resist?

Turns out it was in quite a bad way - although I wasn't to know. At some point the chain's given out and smashed the crank case, the mudguard was only held on with one bolt, cylinders were way out of balance, suspension hopelessly out of adjustment. Worse part was when the rear cam chain tensioner stuck. I took the head covers off to see if I could tell which one it was - at some point in the past someone hadn't done up the bolts properly right at the front of the cylinder head and water had seeped into the threads with the result that one of them snapped clean off during removal. So now the dear old Sig leaves a pool of oil from the three drip points wherever he's parked. £300 to drop the engine and fix it.... at least it's always getting fresh oil.

I do love it though. I parked next to an immaculate 04 red and black Falco in Leicester two weekends ago though - it looked brand new in comparison and I felt a little ashamed but I don't want to work that hard... much prefer riding to polishing.
