It hasn't been plain sailing.

The bottom radiator guard had a screw which didn't want to play. The left side side panel had the same. The right hand airscoop wasn't screwed to the bike at all due to a broken bracket (the one the screw goes into) and was held in place by the fairing. The left hand clip on is actually quite badly bent. This din't become apparent until I stripped the controls off it. I've been riding it like that for nearly 2 years and never noticed. The clocks have a busted rear mount and a broken wire. Everything still works on them so I have no idea what the wire is for. Pictures of this are to follow to see if anyone can throw some light on the matter. The mount may be an issue on refit though unless I can think of some way of either repairing it or finding another way to secure it.

Oh well. No-one ever said it was going to be easy.

But you'll look back and smile.
Beer also helps.

Workshop tip - put the temporary toilet can a long way from the freshly opened one.

How hard was it to remove the grip from the clip on ? May be doing the same and was wondering what it would take or should i just buy some new ones instead ?
