Snapdragon's Raptor (Rapdragon? Snaptor?)
Snapdragon came over for some tyre jollop, a chin wag and about nine pints of tea today. Sun was out, bike was shiny, so I took a few photos.

I notice you missed the scuffs there Nooj
wooooo she nearly looks proper pretty
All RS Please note! the shiny is spring clean and not permanent! next time anyone sees her she's likely to be smothered in mud and chain lube as usual
Thanks Nooj - there was flints and gravel in the road on the way home and it was good to not be worrying about them puncturing the tyre (they didn't I checked) - bugger it was cold by the time I got home though.
@tommy - she is a V Raptor, just without the nose cone and horns

yup one of the joys of owning one (not too hard a task though), getting that lump into a neat frame without compromising general geometry and handling must have been some task.Falcopops wrote:Looks nice snappy.
Was helping a mate service his V-Raptor at the weekend and I've always liked the quirkiness of the looks.
Didn't like that I had to loosen the rad and take the top hose off the get the front plug out though

I can vouch for the excellence of the TL1000 lump. The rest of the bike had issues, but the engine was an absolute peach. V-twin midrange mated to inline-4 top-end rush. Addictive.snapdragon wrote:it's TL 1000, blardy lovely engine in that framefatboy wrote:Id forgotten how bloody good it looks !
Please scuse my ingorance here but what is the lump in that beast ?
goes as good as it looks generally recognised as a hidden gem
