How it was (phone camera so a bit crap quality i'm afraid);

How it is now (well, so far) with powder coated wheels and rsv swingarm and new gold x-ring chain.

Need to service it, put belly pan back on, sort brakes, butcher the gixxer sidestand I've got and then possibly do a few other bits and pieces. For the main part tho I think it looks class!

Hope you like

Looks well smart even for a silver one :smt002

Never thought about doing it before but those wheels just set it off, so more details are needed on cost and stuff as it adds about 20mph to standing still speed

Thanks chaps, I'm well pleased with it. Pics really don't do it justice, I'll have to get me digital camera fixed and take some proper ones.

Anyway, they were done by Bettablast in Shiremoor -

Bettablast
Unit 2, Algernon Industrial Estate, New York Rd, Shiremoor, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear NE27 0NB
Tel: 0191 2518575

Cost me £79.90 including getting the sprocket carrier (is it called that? the big bit on the chain side of the wheel with the cush drive rubbers in) which I had done separately so I knew there were no gaps in the finish. The cost is for shotblasting, powder coating in pretty much any colour you can think off and includes VAT. Takes two days start to finish. You have to take wheels in bare which means no tyres, discs, bearings etc so cost for that ontop. Probs around £100 all in with new bearings. I did the rim tape mesel.

If anyone wants theirs done, give me a shout and i can drop em off and pick em up for ya if you like. They're only open Mon-Fri so if you can't get time off work or owt, drop em off with me and I'll pop then in (just round corner from me so only takes 5 mins).

Cheers!
