D-Rider's Milco-R

#1 Post by D-Rider » Mon Jan 12, 2009 1:17 am

Just realised that I've not posted up any pics of my Falco in the gallery.

It's gradually absorbing Mille and Mille-R parts as it morphs into a hybrid Milco-R.

Here's the current status .... soon to have more bits swapped .....

.... and for a bit of variety, here's one of my eldest son cleaning his CB125 ...

Nice Andy

I take it you used long spacers for the rear right passenger mount? Along with longer bolts I assume?

Very original indicators - am surprised more people do not choose that style.....

(Look I did not say anything about the colour now did I!)

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Now if it was white I could understand calling it Milco, but its some bad colour for milk :smt003

It'd look the biz in silver :smt005

Nice! Where did you get the high-mount link pipe from?

That came from Fuel with the can. Actually, I ordered the can with both hi-mount and standard link pipes ... just in case the hi-mount didn't really fit with the Falco. I now have the option of fitting either configuration.

ffs another shiney bike. Mines covered in months of dust and aluminium filings cos its too fking cold to be in the garage

Syltiz : there'll be someone local who fabricates exhausts, theres 3 local up here and I live in the sticks. Mate charges about £70 for a link and you can stand behind him to get an exact fit . Also say 'up a bit , bit more, turn it a bit, down, down, right, in , in a bit more, PERFECT. Now cut an inch off it and we'll try again ' Totally pisses him off :smt003

Only because it had just had it's bi-annual clean to get rid of 6 months road crap .... you should have seen it an hour beforehand.

Still just as shiny now due to the starter relay welding itself closed before I could ride it anywhere ..... still waiting for the replacement to arrive .....

My youngest has said I can take his 50cc scooter to work tomorrow (he's at college on a Tuesday so won't be needing it) ..... I might just take him up on that .....

I'm always up for a day out on the bikes. Let me know when you have something in mind
