The XJR has six owners on the log book, I'm three of them! Bought it with 1000 miles on the clock, full Akropovic and dynojet tuned, with crank breather etc 120bhp at rear wheel. Kept it for a few years (25k miles of them), then sold it, bought it back, did the body, wheels glass casings, etc etc then sold it again .... it sat for about 5 years, then was offered back :smt007 well just had to say yes.

The cruiser, I got (14 years a go now) to slow me down .... so put a Hypercharger, 2-1 Drag pipes with a 4" out let, and power commandered it up. :smt003

I remember chasing you on the XJR and a few others round the lanes in Kent when a group of us were at a rally at Chilham. HOW many years ago!

Surely it won't be long until there's an aftermarket rear shock in there, new fork springs, Renthal bars...?

Ummm sitting in the garage with the old shock on the bench and Hagon waiting to go in ( +20mm ride height). Bars ... almost, but putting acerbis handguards on the stockers for winter, LSL mid rise for summer maybe. Fork spring and change of oil weight ... yeah probably. I am SOOOO bloody predictable.

It could be worse, I could also put a steering damper on it, paint it matt black and put race rearsets on. Great memories of that bike.
