It's much more than that - it's a Shit Camo! :smt107

Just to make clear I was not having a go at nicketynoo (welcome BTW) whose bike I admired! Would I do that to a newbie?

It was more a built-in reaction to
welcome to the best falco forum
Perhaps I should have said, this isn't ONLY a Falco forum!

And Pete - search? me? dunno what I might find! :smt009

got my Falco

#109 Post by nicketynoo » Mon Jan 21, 2013 7:41 pm

Sorry bikergran but I've just got to post a pic of my newly acquired Falco.
Bought it from miket1964 who obviously a lot of you on here know. Its a shame (for him ) he had to sell but I hope I made it as painless as I could, he's a great bloke and we had a good chat about his racing days when I went round to view the bike
I'm not sure I would have got back into bikes if it wasn't for my ( then ) 14 year old son who convinced me to get a wreck of a bike to restore ready for his 16th birthday. If anyone has some spare time and would like to read about this here a link http://www.apriliaforum.com/forums/show ... yr-project

after getting the RS running and riding it I decided I needed something for myself and originally wanted an LC but they're fetching too much money and the RGV became available locally so I had to have it, its in fairly good condition but woul like to make it a minter.
I then spotted a cherry red Falco advertised locally and loved it, I'd never come across one before and thought they looked a cracking bike and very good value! And I also had a small space left in the garage.
So here it is, I feel a bit of a cheat as mike's done all the hard work, but this is a really sorted bike with an extra's list as long as your arm.
Mike I hope you dont mind me using one of your pics but havent been able to get one due to the weather!

And also mike I've got to apologise as I told you a bit of a fib when I came to view it. It is actually the FASTEST colour! Ha Ha.

go see an optician - you appear to be colour blind

nice btw :smt023

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Very nice - the Flamingo Red ones always look good and that one has had some nice mods too.

Hey Nick don't apologise for loving your bike!

I love mine - well my trike - and it's not half as beautiful as yours! :smt060

Lovely looking bike, and shinier than a very shiny thing. I'm sure you'll be delighted with it.

Well sorted that bike. Make sure you tell the insurance about the mods fella :smt002
Looking at the picture Mick has spent some serious money on that bike. You are lucky to drop on such a nice sorted example :smt112

So here's mine:

Everyone knows, blue one's are faster. So fast, in fact, I can't get the suspension to play nice. So that's on my list of things to do :smt001
