Nice Golidie, enjoy.
Funily enough it was an R1 that prompted me to get the Falco
I visited an old school mate who races his R1 and he let me go out for a spin on it. Now I was running about on an old GSX1100 at the time and the difference was awesome, but the riding position a bit too extreme. the Falco seemed to fit in the middle

IS that an RXS? They never used that paint scheme on the RXS?Falco9 wrote: And my newly restored little Yam 100
This was mine that I went touring on in Normandy with my club. Great little bike, handled like a 'proper' bike, never complained about carrying all my stuff, tent, airbed, stove, clothes etc etc. 70mph once it was wound up (except up hills or against a headwind)!

Then there was the Superdream, bought for my 50th as a project, been standing in a back garden for 2 years, rebuilt by me.
That's the new MOT on the seat, passed first time.
And the GT550, bought 3 days before I went to France cos the Superdream ate its generator, as they do.
And now she has three wheels.

The tragedy of old age is not that one is old, but that one is young.

Pm me with an email address, I've got a few pics of the rear end on mine which others have found helpful - mine's a very simple conversion in which the only thing that's modified is the swingarm - and the Reliant axle which has been shortened one side, and the propshaft shortened of course.
Better still, I've put them on Photbucket as I've lost count of the number of times I've posted them or emailed them. Feel free to nick them if they're any help, and shout if there's anything else you'd like me to add.
There's lots of useful info about trike building on Manky Monkey Motors tho all Andy's trikes are hardtails - there's also a link on that page to an article about Gertie (my trike).

Thanks Howard. Haven't been in touch with the builder for a week or two, last time I went over to the workshop he hadn't started and I dread hearing him say he's starting next week - which is what he said 2 weeks ago! Must giove him a ring tho.

Nope it's a 1978 RS100 I think this model ran to 1981 when the RSX was brought in as the update model.BikerGran wrote:IS that an RXS? They never used that paint scheme on the RXS?Falco9 wrote: And my newly restored little Yam 100
