New Ride

#1 Post by DavShill » Tue Jun 02, 2015 7:20 am

Just traded the Tiger 1050 for one of these beauties. The Tiger is a lovely bike but it's really a "sit-up" sports bike. It's a bit too revvy for long two-up touring and Jules has always had a little difficulty climbing on and off, especially when it's fully loaded. I love it though and would highly recommend them.
So I went window shopping last week and fell in love with this. four days and a test ride later and the deal was done. Suzuki dealer gave me £300 less than I paid three years ago for the Tiger, and I got to keep the fancy bits to sell off myself. The VStrom has a much smoother power delivery which important when two up. Jules liked it, easy to climb on and off and no clashing of helmets because there is more room between rider and pillion. And it's a Vtwin of course

So here she is. 1037cc VStrom Sport Edition. 3 more sleeps before I collect it on Friday afternoon. :smt001
