LOL - I look and ride like that too, but am streamlined with less hair than that geezer!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who rides around with the pannier frames permanently attached to the bike.

Yep, function over form in this 'case' - lol - just so handy, being able to put the bags on...

I did think of getting them chromed or sprayed over silver to match the frame in some way, however.

Nah, they'll stand out far too much against the red, I leave them on because they're very understated and hardly noticeable, plus as you say handy. I also use mine as part of the security, so to nick my bike they'll have to take the seats off to remove the frame or cut through it.

I'm right 98% of the time so why worry about the other 3%?
