Biker Gran its all your fault !!!!!
After seeing Biker grans photo's of her old yamaha RXS 100 it got me hankering after one. I remember mine fondly it was bought new in 1984 for my seventeenth birthday . I recently had a search on Ebay and saw one that caught my eye but sort of needed an excuse to buy it so came up with this.
Dom my son is seventeen in 4 months so it would be perfect to buy it for him to use as a step up to something bigger or until he starts driving. Then I can have it back and have it all for myself perfect. So after a 340 mile round trip to Diss in Norfolk here it is:
Its a 1989 bike and has only covered 3500 miles from new with all old mot's what a find , I am so happy with it.

I don't care if you lick windows,
Take the special bus
Or occasionally pee on yourself.
You hang in there sunshine, you're special!

That's in fantastic nick and I'm thrilled to be held responsible - you'll never regret it!
Brilliant little bike and if I thought I dared I'd buy one again tomorrow - but in spite of being very small I still don't think I could trust my leg to hold it up - and if I came off (which I might, cos they do encourage a touch of the hooligan) it would hurt a lot more now I'm that much older!

The tragedy of old age is not that one is old, but that one is young.

Well Mango its not a minter you know how bikes always look better in pictures but I will say its in very good unmolested condition with a nice patina. Think I've been watching too much classic car hunter on skymangocrazy wrote:That's an absolute minter. What a lovely little bike.
Jealous. very jealous...

It's much nicer than a 'better than new' restoration. It's in original nick, and all the better for it. Well done that man. If I could get my hands on one like that I'd be well chuffed (but I'd probably have it appropriated by Mrs Mango, who's itching to get her hands on summat like that)...nicketynoo wrote:Well Mango its not a minter you know how bikes always look better in pictures but I will say its in very good unmolested condition with a nice patina.
