Tuono conversion is not that expensive actually. 300-400 quid in parts if you are careful. It's roughly the same I've spent on this Fighter but ONLY because I was lucky to get the front fairing cheap. I already had most bits needed for Falcuono but decided to go for more 'elite' option.HowardQ wrote:Sabestian,
Nice to see you got it sorted and it's lookin good.![]()

See you changed your mind about the Tuono conversion and went for the Falco Fighter bits. Looked to be too many (expensive) complications with the Tuono conversion when I looked.
Fighter kit looked easier and cheaper but there aint nothin' cheap with a damaged Aprilia.
Yep. Easy peasy.HowardQ wrote:Did it all go straightforward?

There are always 'a few bits still to be sorted'HowardQ wrote:Mine's back on road with a few bits still to be sorted, like still need a new Beowulf titanium can.

I need bronze paint for the fairing, radiator covers, and couple of touch-ups here and there.
Actually mine had far less damage I expected. Front fairing and a subframe were smashed, the rest was surprisingly fine! Radiator leaking (now replaced), rear subframe marginally bent (straightened now) and... that's it! Scratches all over the place - that'll be an excuse for a new paint next year...Did I mention that I used Suzuki Burmgman's handlebarsHowardQ wrote:Will have cost me a grand plus by time I've done and yours had more damage than mine.

The best bit is the improvement in comfort and fun-factor! I was not happy with position on a stock Falco, went for Convertibars, not enough, than crashed and here I am

Falcoholic, I bought this baby with them fitted, so no clue. But I have to agree with you. They match Falco's lines perfectly.
