Yeah, I guess I don't need to do it yet, but she does sit outside under a cover. Good point about dust attraction.Fausto wrote:jayboy wrote:
A good dowsing in GT85 or similar is on the cards too.
Why ?
Is that for rust protection? I wouldn't bother until the winter as WD or GT just attract dirt. May I suggest ACF50 for this job once the roads get mucky.
Where did I get the shock from, guess - ebay! Got quite a good deal to be honest, but I don't know how many miles it's done. Still got to be better than stock though!
A good tip is to keep searching for "aprilia breaking" when looking for goodies. you get lots listed at 99p and "if you bid you get a dust cap" then ask them what they want for stuff and use paypal, or ask them to list at a certain time.

Oh dear ..... never tell this lot your ebay tips - you'll never win anything again!jayboy wrote: A good tip is to keep searching for "aprilia breaking" when looking for goodies. you get lots listed at 99p and "if you bid you get a dust cap" then ask them what they want for stuff and use paypal, or ask them to list at a certain time.
We like to help each other as much as we can ..... but when it comes to ebay it's just a jungle out there.
Pierre, however, has found a sure-fire ebay strategy - bid on anything that nobody in their right mind would ever want - preferably in a size that would never ever fit anyone bigger than a 2-year old.
It works for him.
