Falco (Zorro ver) wiv me mods...

#1 Post by FalcoPete » Mon Jul 08, 2013 10:21 pm

Hi folks,
Have come over from the dark side (Club Aprilia)...or is that to the dark side? Here's my '05 diablo black/hot red pride & joy which is my first V-twin & so glad I made that choice. Read an article in BIKE comparing a Falco with the Suzie SV 1000 & just knew I had to have the Falco. My last road bike was a Honda CB750KZ in Oz (yes, I'm that old) but this bike never fails to make me grin like an 8 year old when aboard. Bought the bike in '08, a one owner with 5,000 miles on the clock then passed theory, motorcycle CBT & direct access ride to get my licence again.

Have developed a liking for mods, like most Falconistas & the list is at the end of the image. Can honestly say none of them feel as if they have been a waste of time or money - my bike suits me perfectly.

Carbon Fibre bits - mudguard | hugger | yoke | dash | dash infill
RSV bits - 2000 swingarm | Sachs rear shock (fully refurbished, new spring, personal set-up) | trangles & dogbone
Tyres - Maxxix Supermaxx Presa Sport - brilliant, especially the price £165 the pair & on my second rear after 5,500 miles & a track day at Brands!!!
Others 1 - Venhill front & rear brake & clutch braided lines | Led indicators | led dash L/R turn repeaters | Oberon slave clutch | MWR HE induction kit | PCIII + custom map
Others 2 - CNC alloy levers | R&G crash bungs, bar ends, paddock stand bobbins | Beowulf cans | alloy hangers | 2007 Extended mirrors | Skidmarx smoke double bubble
Others 3 - gel battery | 100amp starter solenoid | 15/42T Taylon sprockets | DID gold VX GB chain | Honda Blackbird sidestand | Tank camera mount | new style Aprilia lion head tankpad
On the List - carbon fibre belly pan | tail tidy | new style large Aprilia lion head decals for fairings | Aprila Performance rearsets | that's it...maybe a pair of stubby cans too...
