Unfortunate car and bike names

#1 Post by randomsquid » Sat Apr 25, 2015 11:48 am

Was reading a list of crap bike names on Visordown. One was the something or other R sport. Sounds like arse port, get it?

Anyhoo, was listening to the wireless at work and they keep running adverts for the new Jaguar XF arse port. They even recommended searching on the net for arse port.

This has kept me happy for the last couple of days and now I'm waiting to see one on the road so I can yell ARSE PORT at it. Sorry if you've just ordered one.

No surprise that this type of phrase would appeal to you really is it? I mean you've got the reputation of liking arse sports yourself ;)

I've seen a Mercedes Brabus .... I guess it's a useful vehicle for carrying a number of busty women.

Intruder - sounds like something from the Anne Summers catalogue
It flies sideways through time
It's an electric line

I often wonder (well very occasionally wonder) who would want to buy a car called a 'Duster' - which is of course named after a fluffy yellow cleaning cloth much used by housewives, or so I'm told.

Virago was a bit naff when you look up the definition.

Also calling a ped a Katana was a bad thing. Just ask the Suzuki rep at the NEC when my big scary mate with a thing for the real ones saw it.

A lass at work had a Datsun SUV thing that was nearly the same colour as the best colour Falco. It was horrific.

I did a bit of googling .... reminded me of the Ford Probe, the Cedric and the Starrion (that was supposed to be Stallion).

Discovered the Mazda Titan Dump and the Mitsubishi Lettuce .... but this has to be the best collection I've found so far:

Would have loved to have owned a ford pubic!
Apparently it was made from old corsairs! :smt005
I don't care if you lick windows,
Take the special bus
Or occasionally pee on yourself.
You hang in there sunshine, you're special!
