Hi GM - welcome.

Good to hear that yo've probably got this sorted. Unfortunately not so many Aprilia strokers on here so you may not get so many direct answers.
My son's got an Aprilia scooter that I try to keep running (but having always run 4-strokes myself I'm not so sure on the oil pump side of things - and I know my son's scooter is chucking in too much oil as it fouls plugs frequently).

Anyway, glad to have you with us

Yeah - I should give that a go before resorting to more drastic measures. Cheers :smt002

Is the bike worth a new pump?

By that I mean will it last, or will it be something that needs changing every year :smt010

Must be plenty in the scrappys considering the frequency they get binned?
