Strangest thing i've liberated from a petrol tank was a petrol tap. No idea why anyone thought they went on the inside.. but someone did..lol..
The daftest thing i've retrieved was one of those FuelCat things.. Lead pellets inside a stainless mesh cage. Waste of money IMO. It had been in the tank 10 years and looked more or less the same as it would've when it went in..

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.

BTW I was chatting to an owner of a very pristine GPz900 today at lunchtime, it was as good as new really as it'd never been out in the wet and was garaged every time it was parked up.
