Is it just me or is anyone else really keen to see 'What's been done over the Winter'?...wonder when we are going to start seeing hard work revealed??

I still have a few bits being painted and a couple more items to be powder coated but all will be revealed soon (hopefully!!)
I have to say though; that overall for a bike that sat in an open barn for 18 months I'm pretty impressed with the quality of the finish and how the bike stood up to the weather, especially considering it wasn't even washed before being left there

let alone covered
One great winter fettling tip I'm happy to pass on is the use of "Wonder Wheels" alloy wheel cleaner......this stuff is amazing at cleaning up brake calipers and mine now look almost like new. I used it neat and applied it with a tooth brush......left it 5 mins and rinsed off and the improvement was unbelievable

I agree about the Wonder wheels. Was pleasantly surprised to find something that 'did what it said on the tin'.

very little is being done cosmetically to mine
but under the hood I have made a few small changes.....
I am also working on something else but unsure if it will look/feel right or remain when it is done.....

Just dont use 'wonder wheels' on yer wheels as you'll be wondering what happened to ye wheels..lol..
As for the winter work.. Well, didn't get as much done as planned.. But still got some bits done. Just the belly pan to stick back on now.. Altough I'm thinking about going back to the 'standard' set up.

I think Pete's more of a Sheila's Wheels chap .....
Plenty of things to do to my Falco - haven't had time to do any of them

Same here!
Things that need to be installed:
- MotoBits rearsets
- Cobra braided lines (full set - front, rear and clutch)
- Indicators
- HID light
- New rear brake pads
There just isn't any free time in my life at the moment...

Don't let Wonder Wheels anywhere near anything that isn't painted or stainless steel, and NEVER let it dry on!
It's great for getting tarnished stainless steel back to a shiny finish, but any mild steel (like our caliper and disc bolts) it will just corrode it away as it contains strong phosphoric acid.
THIS stuff is much nicer to your bike, works just as well and smells of bubblegum as a bonus

Some major work going on here with the Falco, I've been asking enough questions about the various forums so no prizes for guessing what I'm up to. Nothing new, all stuff that's been done before by people, I've just gone about it in a slightly different way.
