This Thread:
You don't have to sign up to come and signing up doesn't commit you to being there but it's nice to know who is probably going - and it also helps people to meet up and ride together (should they want to).
So post up on this thread and I'll keep this first post updated with the overall status.
What's Occurring:
Early birds will be arriving Friday afternoon/evening (21st May)
The main event happens on the Saturday (22nd May)
Those of us that want to partake of a bit of chat over a few bevies will camp over and head home on Sunday (23rd)
Club Aprilia wrote:We have almost finalised the details for years meet and can now confirm the following.
As last year camping will be available on both Friday and Saturday night.
The Shillington Playing Fields committee will be providing poachers curry for Friday night campers.
On Saturday we are pleased to confirm that the following businesses will be supporting the event.
Piaggio / Aprilia
Aprilia will be offering demo rides throughout the day.
Details of available bikes to follow along with how to book a test ride.
Aprilia Performance
Griff and his team will be on hand to offer technical advice and suspension set ups.
Austin Racing
Rich and his team will be displaying their range of aftermarket parts for the RSV4
White Dalton
White Dalton will be offering specialist advice on all your legal queries and requirements.
All Year Biker
Nooj will be there to offer his services to make sure your bike is cleaned up like a new pin and protected against the worst of the British weather.
Club Aprilia
As always you will be able to treat yourself to some of the clubs merchandise or sign up if you aren’t already a member.
We still have a couple of other irons in the fire and will confirm as soon as we can.
If you are coming on your bike make sure its well polished and looking its best as Aprilia Performance are sponsoring a show and shine with prizes being awarded to the best three bikes on the day.
Catering on Saturday will be a hog roast which will be available from 1pm and throughout the afternoon.
If you are peckish on Saturday night there will be a burger van on site to help you soak up the beer!
There is an excellent local band playing on Saturday night in the social club house which has been organised by the Shillington Club.
The key to the event is that we get as many Aprilia owners turning up to support the event as possible.
The emphasis of this event is socialising and meeting fellow members and owners.
The craic in the evenings is great so if your thinking about staying over – do it!!
Look forward to seeing you there.

I'm planning on being there. I have a celebratory lunch on the Sunday so I'm not 100% sure I'll drink over on the Saturay night. If not I'll probably do Friday night.
That means I'll camp over at least one night, possibly both but be gentle with me if I'm there on the Saturday night.

Just updating this for all
The official club are hoping to confirm parts of this over the next few days, but it would seem likely that some band is playing on the saturday night.... probably be quieter than the air guitar of last year but - more details as they are confirmed
Attendees for Friday night
(I am using their common user names that may not be right for this forum...)
Aladinsaneuk
Jadaris
Martdude
Nooj
Possibly HisNibbs
Possibly Paddyz1
others are heading along for saturday and sunday
Griff - the UK folk know who I mean will be doing suspension setups for folk - £20 per bike - on a first come first served basis - he will do all that need it though!
Nooj is taking bookings via
http://www.allyearbiker.co.uk/Booking.html ... I know that some folk are already booked in for that
(like me!)
couple of us have been muttering about possibly organising a mini BBQ for the saturday night - ie, dead cow on disposable BBQ's - chances are we will sort that out the week before
Finally, For those who want to exchange mobile numbers before hand, PM with your user name, real name and mobile number and i will pass onto other folk who wish to share mobile numbers
info crossposted on to AF1 as well :)

Re food
Don't think this was mentioned in the initial announcement; there'll be a mobile caterer providing baps/baguettes etc for breakfasts

Can't see that I'm going to get everything done in time to go on Friday ..... looks as though I'll amble along on the Saturday.

We went
We sizzled in the sun
We chatted
Hanna found a new set of clothes - for free!
We drank a beer or two
We listened to an excellent live band doing covers of Cream, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Led Zep .... oh of just about everyone ... even some Bowie for Aladinsaneuk ....
Martdude made a new Futura chum .... hopefully he'll be along to the forum soon.
Paddy has a new project ... he may be fiddling with his rear - but I can't say more at the moment .... press embargo ...
Yellowduck dropped in on Saturday, Woodbutcher dropped in for a brief visit on Saturday evening.
Attendees you may know were those above, Aladinsaneuk, Jadaris, HisNibbs, Paddy & Davina, Shootmyscoot (poised to plant a bottle of beer in my hand the moment I arrived - Nice) - he came on his KTM to bring a bit of colour to the proceedings, Nooj (slaving away on the ShineyBike stuff), Debs - and Griff was there too.
Probably some others I've forgotten too.
Oh, and Paddy proved it isn't just Falcos that have starting problems ....
The puzzle of the weekend was how to fold up a pop-up Aprilia sign and get it back in its case. Defeated most of the campers .... one after another took their turn - only to be defeated ...... until the Falco boys stepped up to show them how it should be done
Nice one Paddy
Those that didn't get there, you missed a great weekend.
Look out for future events and make a date for the Ridersite Norfolk weekend at the end of the summer (precise date TBC) .... that's going to be another one not to be missed.
