Afternoon all,
Just saw the announcement over in 'the other place' and thought I'd let people here know.

Sign of the times I suppose

That's sad, they had decent stuff and were fine whenever I used them.

They must have had a BMW section also cos they have the (almost) same message on their site.

But the Irish arm of bmwbikebits is still up

I wonder if there are any other sides to the business?

Oh Cock!!!!
Ordered the tail tidy just over three weeks ago from them. They told me that they were waiting on new stock to come in so there will be a delay of a couple of weeks. Thought nothing of it after hearing good things about them and since i was going away thought i'll just get it.
Hope they come through for me but what little i do know of companies going into administration the situation is bleak.

Update on their website:
Guess you need to find (or make) another one but it sounds as though you won't be out of pocket.

Back home now and just checked the statement. Monies have been refunded so although disappointed, i am impressed that they kept to their word. Just hope they get back into business.

Just found out about this, a real shame. Anyone know specificlly what went wrong? Is it just a sign of the times?

Yes - as the notices on the site said it was due to a personal issue - so I guess it's best it stays that way (though nothing criminal, underhand or scandalous lest the wrong end of the stick should be grabbed).
It does seem that from RSVR.net, a new business has now emerged, 123BP:

Though as well as supporting this new venture, I would encourage people to also put business the way of
Aprilia Performance. Griff did a great job of running our suspension setup training session, will run more for us and other things we want him to. It's in our interests to keep him in business - servicing, spares and a growing range of Aprilia accessories (no I'm not on commission).
Website needs to catch up a bit with what they have on offer but give a call to Griff or Zoe and they'll help you out.
