Someone's broken one already ..... what could we do with it?

#1 Post by D-Rider » Sun Apr 06, 2008 10:19 pm

While many of us have yet to see one and few have yet to ride one, it seems that someone has already broken one ......

Maybe an interesting project to convert into a sportsbike .... could even make an interesting track bike with a bit of work .....

Suggestions on what to do?

Why did it need a new engine under warranty after 1600 miles? :smt017

Steer well clear of it by the sounds of it!! :smt002
Just 1,875 miles - this engine also had a BRAND NEW engine fitted by ourselves under Aprilia warranty under 200 miles ago!

Now going back to my thread about China.. Could it be that it has got a Chinese engine? 1600 miles on an dead Aprilia engine.. well.. doesnt sound like an Aprilia engine if you see what I mean. Especially for Aprilia to accept a warranty claim!

I suppose it could be something different to throw in a gravel trap at Brands or Snetterton... :smt001 A Cafe Racered Shiver... hmmm

Yeah I noticed the bit about the engine .... mind you, Aprilia engines are quite an unknown quantity ... we're more used to Rotax motors.

.... and no I'm not thinking of buying this ... the mrs would kill me - no really she would - as in no more breathing type of death.
