How much for the 100mm piston kit? installed ? complete? Is someone with a hammer and file able to do it in the garage? Who was it who did it from this country?

reason : Trackdays

My mates bought a written off 04' R1 in october and just got finished now, no worries he's still learning, minor problem.

Other mate upgraded at chrimbo from 1987 fz750 to an '04 r6, fair enough but getting expensive

Other mates gone and bought a race prepped '94 blade but he's new this year so he'll be steady away

But the fastest lad on a crappy old steel framed cbr600 WHO I WAS JUST GETTING TO KEEP UP WITH has just bought an 02 cbr ex-isle of man race bike.

This may be the final straw. I dont mind not being fastest but i am not gonna get lapped/blitzed/humiliated. So apart from the supercharger option I guess I'm limited to 100mm piston kit OR some kind of race tune OR newer RSV factory engine transplant. I cant bring myself to change from a v-twin, besides thats too easy.

Maybe I can get some bigger balls and/or talent on ebay :smt003

RSVR. :smt002

It's the way forward... It will competently blitz all 3 of those bikes on a racetrack with a decent rider on it.

I cant see how yours wont keep up and destroy them either? It's got a decent tune on it? Should be turning the tyres on the rims with the amount of torque youve got to hand... Even a falco will fire out of a corner faster than an R Wun?

Turn the throttle on earlier and scream BANZAIIIIIIIII!! really loudly.

Have a chat with Don at Southern Cross in Kilburn. He's the man who can, if anyone.

If you get the pistons you could send the barrels to Grampiam Motors in Liverpool. I think they charge £15 per cylinder
Their website is pretty crap but I aint interested in graphics. Their work is really good but you have to ignore the really obnoxious TWAT that works behind the counter. One day he will get lamped, the twat.

All of the motorcycle dealers I know send their rebores here

And we need to meet up one day cos' I love fucking about and tinkering with bikes too :smt002 :smt004
