Suspension Side Plate Failures

After reading about a number of side plate failures on the new RSVR and Tuono, I've replaced the side plates with these shiny new Stainless Steel ones.
As yet there is no definite proven reason for these failures (albeit just a few) but as Aprilia haven't issued a recall and seeing that AF1 racing are now selling their own "strengthened" ones, I thought I'd take the plunge as the thought of suspension plate failure at speed is too scary to contemplate.
These are via a AF1 forum member Ryan (H-14) and I'm pleased with them. Falco & Gen1 Tuono owners needn't worry at the plates on those bikes are as tough as old boots. It's just the new "lightened" ones that are suspect at the mo.

And the new plates

Can't put a price on piece of mind can you?
