Please forward all names for the position of Aprilia RiderSite Moderator

We need TWO names from the ARS Massive (preferably willing volunteers!)

The Moderator 'job' entails the following:

Initial Set up of the new ARS:

Bringing over links or posts to enrichen the new Site however you see fit. Links to various topics maybe.. suspension, lighting, tyres, whatever you think a good start. The tech section is a blank page, use it as you see fit to create a database of links to subjects maybe! Your call!!

Standard stuff:

1. Moderation of threads. (Like moving say a Mille Sticker Prices thread from the Falco forum to the RSV forum)

2. Light Moderation of Members (if it's ever needed!?!)


Mods dont have to be tech wizards. There's only light stuff to be done and it's NOT a requirement for them to have to be here at all hours of the day.
It's just allowing You, the membership, to control your own Site. You could even decide to change Mods every year on the anniversary of ARS's formation on RS.. Up to you lot entirely!

and F9. Might even have the effect of not being able to sell his falco if he's a mod in a falco forum, bad form dont you know :)

Can I suggest that we have a vote? but for me it's gotta be D-Rider and F9, if he doesn't sell his mint Falco that is............but whoever it is please no Man Utd fans, they'll only change the rules to suit them every time they need to then cry when they don't get their own way....

Any news on bringing across the previous post counts??

We're still working on alternative options for the fact we cant bring post counts forward

We only have 3 names so far. D9 and D-Rider have the ayes at the moment for Mods. I dont see a real need for a vote really, just a general show of hands.

I'll set Monday evening as the cut off time for nominations as we need to get the Mods up and running.

The initial bit of the Mod job can be done by anyone. You can sort stuff like that out at any level of membership. If you see something, bring it over, the Mods can always tidy up after if needs be This is ARS / RS. The Sites are what you make them.

There's a big blank canvas.. Go fill it

S'troo. Sam, as a Mod, is the Keeper of the No7..He didnt get a choice!

If others want to do the job I'll certainly not stand in their way but if people want me to do this then I'll give it a go. If I cock it all up you can chuck me out and get someone else to do it .... after Kwackerz has sorted out the mess.

I see the theme behind the basis of the suggestion that Rich and I moderate .... we qualify on the grounds that we both support Championship football teams with good histories but the inability to win anything anymore ... even the occasional game would be nice!

... and my other team has still to meet Arsenal again this season after those 2 games during the past week. (sorry to bring that up again TN - but I can prommise that any posts will be deleted should they contain any lies purporting that "The Scum" are or have been anything other than .... well ... The Scum I guess!)
